M.E.S.H

James Whipple is an artist from California, known for a sound that can shift from the meditative to states of manic unease in its elaboration of the interior spaces of digital audio. As M.E.S.H. he has been a resident DJ at Berlin’s Janus club night and releases music mainly on PAN, including the albums Piteous Gate (2015) and Hesaitix (2017). He also released a split EP with Tzusing in 2018. Through Janus’ own imprint he released Hart… aber Fair in 2019, and in 2021 he released a compilation of live recordings called live & alternate versions 2014-2019.
